Airtel had launched a service called Airtel Money in India which is an account in the Mobile Phone which can be used as a cash account. How to Register for an EXPRESS Account

You can register for an express account either through online or through your mobile phone. For registering through online visit http://www.airtel.in and fill the application form and you will get a confirmation sms to your mobile.

Or you can register through your mobile phone by dialing *400# and you will get a message and exit the message and wait and you will get some menus and select the first option and again select the first option and give details and register yourself.

How to Register for a POWER Account

If you want to register for a power account or upgrade your express account to a power account  you have to visit your nearest airtel office and have to fill the airtel money form and submit a recent photograph and an identity proof and you will get registered an express account immediately and your express account will be upgraded to power account in 7 working days.

You have to pay a processing fees of Rs 50 (one time) for upgrading to a power account and there no fees for express account. 

You can have a maximum of Rs 10000 in express account and Rs 50000 in power account so no need of tension. 

You can load or  spend 10000 in a single day using express account and RS 50000 from a power account.

There are some charges for each transaction and these charges can be know by visiting the website.

You can send a minimum of Rs 10 or spend a minimum of Rs 5

You can load your Airtel Money account either through Net banking or through any airtel retail outlets.
