How to Link Aadhaar Card with Voter ID Online

As per instructions from Election Commission of India (ECI) every voters in India have to link their voter identity card with Aadhaar card.

One can Link their Voter ID with Aadhaar Card using various methods like Voter Helpline App, Through Online, Through SMS, Through Calling and through Booth Level Officer (BLO).

How to Link Voter ID with Aadhaar Card using Voter Helpline App?

1. Download and Install Voter Helpline App from Android Play Store

2. Once Download open the Voter Helpline App

3. Click on I Agree and Click on Next

4. Click on Voter Registration

5. Click on Electoral Authentication Form (Form 6B)

6. Click on Lets Start

7. Enter your Mobile Number and click on Send OTP

8. Enter the OTP received on the Mobile Number and click on Verify

9. Click on "Yes I Have Voter ID" and click Next

10. Enter your Voter ID Number (EPIC Number), Select your State and click on Fetch Details and Click Proceed

11. Verify your details which is shown on the Screen and Click Next

12. Enter your Aadhaar Number, Mobile Number and Place of Application and Click Done. 

13. Once click on Done, Form 6B Preview Page will be displayed. Re-check your details and Click Confirm.

Your Application will be submitted.

How to Link Voter ID with Aadhaar Card using Online through NVSP Portal?

Visit the website https://voterportal.eci.gov.in/

Click on Create an Account if not created before. 

Enter your Mobile Number or E-Mail ID and click on Send OTP

Enter the OTP received in your Mobile / E-Mail and click on Verify

You will get a Successful Registration Message

Next Enter New Password and Confirm Password, Enter Captcha (Solve the Maths) and Agree Terms by ticking on the Box

Click Create Account

Once your account is created you can Login using your User Name and Password

Next Click on Aadhaar Linkage

Click on Lets Start

Click on YES, I have Voter ID Number

Enter your Voter ID Number and Click on Fetch Details

If your details shown is correct you can go for linking Aadhaar

Enter your Name as per Aadhaar Card and Aadhaar Card Number and Link your Voter ID with Aadhaar Number.

How to Link Voter ID With Aadhaar through SMS?

You can also link Voter ID  to Aadhaar through SMS.

1. Type an SMS in the following format.

ECILINK<SPACE><EPIC No. / Voter ID Card Number>< SPACE><Aadhaar No.>

2. Send it to 51969 or 166 from your registered mobile number.

How to Link Voter ID with Aadhaar using by Calling?

You can Link your Voter ID with Aadhaar card using a phone call. 

Call 1950 from your registered mobile number between 10 to 5 PM from Monday to Friday. 

Provide your Aadhaar number and EPIC number to the official. Once the details are verified the Voter ID Number will be Linked with Aadhaar. 

You will be informed once your Aadhaar card & Voter id is linked.

How to Link Voter ID With Aadhaar through Booth level Officer?

1. Visit your nearest Booth Level Officer (BLO). Visit the ECI website to know your Booth Level Officer (BLO).

2. Submit the Voter ID Card and Aadhaar Card and BLO will verify the documents and Link your Aadhaar Number with Voter ID.
