Applications were invited from Interest and eligible students for admissions to regular PG and PhD Courses in IISC Bangalore. Courses are as below

(1) Research Programmes [Ph D / M Tech (Research)] 

(2) Course Programmes in Engineering [M Tech/M Des/MMgt], 

(3) Course Programmes in Science [M Sc in Life Sciences and Chemistry], 

(4) Integrated Ph D Programmes, and 

(5) External Registration Programme [Ph D / M Tech (Research)].

Instruction Manual: Read the IIS Instruction Manual before applying. 

Applicants having the educational qualification and those who are in the final semester / year of their qualifying examinations but expect to complete the course by 31st July 2022 and can submit the certificates on and before 31st October 2022 are eligible to apply for the Course in IIS.

Interested Eligible Candidates have to apply Online for the Course through the website www.iisc.ac.in. Click on Admissions and click Apply Online.

Application Fees: (Non Refundable)

Rs. 800 (General /OBC / EWS Candidates and Sponsored Candidates) 

Rs. 400 (SC / ST / PwD Candidates)

Rs. 2000 (ERP Candidates - All Category)

Start Date for Applying Online: 15th February 2022

Last date for online submission of applications: 22nd March 2022 23:59 Hrs.

Minimum class prescribed in the qualifying examination is relaxed to a “Pass Class” for SC / ST candidates.

Scholarships:

All the regular PG / PhD students (except M Sc and M.Mgt) who join the Institute are eligible for scholarship from MHRD / CSIR / UGC / ICMR / DBT / DST / AICTE / DAE (NBHM) depending upon their mode of entry.
